Customize Percent Complete

The Customize % Complete (or “Customize Complete”) rule allows you to adjust how % Complete is calculated for modeling scenarios. This helps when the default method doesn’t align with your project logic or you want to test different progress attributions.

Create a Customize % Complete Condition:

  1. Go to the Project Workspace by clicking the project from the Project List.
  2. Click Modeling from the top menu bar.
  3. Click + Model from the top right of the screen and click Customize Percent Complete
  4. Choose if you want cost and/or manpower removed from activities (if applicable) and click NEXT
  5. Select activities you want removed from the percent complete calculation and click next
    1. Select activities in an entire WBS, assigned to the same activity code, or individually
  6. Name the model and select a baseline and click Save.

 

View and Analyze Results:

Switch to that model to see how metrics and trends differ under your custom % Complete logic. Compare with original scenario to judge changes
