New Features

  • Executive Reports: You can now create custom Executive Reports the same way you create custom Project Reports. Add any tile from the Executive Dashboard into personalized templates — including the same chart with different filters applied — alongside custom text and flexible formatting. Once built, add the report to a subscription to ensure the right stakeholders stay informed. To get started, navigate to the Reports section and click + Executive Report. (Available in V2 only)

    Coming soon: the ability to pull in specific project-level data directly into your Executive Reports. 
  • Import Files with LOE Loops: A discrepancy between SmartPM and P6 in how circular references involving Level of Effort (LOE) activities were handled has been resolved. Files containing LOEs that create circular references can now be imported successfully into SmartPM, consistent with how P6 handles them.
  • Quality — Hide Pre-Built Profiles: Added a company-wide configuration option to hide SmartPM's pre-built Quality profiles.
  • Quality — Finish-to-Start with Lag: A new Quality metric is now available to identify activities with a Finish-to-Start relationship that include lag. Using lag as a waiting period is considered a scheduling bad practice — waiting periods should always be represented as discrete activities. You can now flag this in your quality analysis and deduct points from any schedule that contains it, helping enforce higher scheduling standards across your projects.

Bug Fixes

  • Progress: Fixed an issue where the Planned vs. Actual charts were not populating for Resource and Cost metrics — previously only Duration was rendering correctly.
  • Filters: Fixed an issue where filters were not displaying for projects in Oversight slots.
  • Gantt: Fixed an issue where an activity (non-milestone) with identical start and end date/time was incorrectly having its end date set to the previous day.
  • Download All: Fixed an issue where the Download All action would fail when a project contained files with duplicate names.
  • Contractual End Date: Fixed an issue where the Contractual End Date was displaying one day beyond the correct date when the project was ahead of schedule.
