Release 9.42 October 19th 2026
New Features
- Planned vs. Actual Export: You can now export the data behind the Planned vs. Actual chart. In the workspace, click the download button in the top-right corner to get a spreadsheet with two tabs. The first tab shows the planned and actual percent complete for each update included on the chart. The second tab breaks down the current planned, actual, and earned percent for each activity. This gives you full visibility into how SmartPM calculates progress and makes it easier to reconcile those numbers with the scheduling software used to build the schedule.
- Models: When creating an Advanced Model, you can now choose whether it auto-updates. Leave auto-update on to have new files added automatically, or uncheck it to keep a static model made up of only the files you select. Models are also now editable after creation, so you can add or remove files at any time instead of rebuilding the model from scratch.
- Custom Lookahead Filters: In addition to the standard 3- and 6-week lookaheads, you can now create lookahead filters for any number of weeks. Custom lookaheads can be reused across any project or report.
- Procore User Assignment: Procore users can now be assigned to SmartPM projects automatically. When setting up the Procore integration, select the User Assignment option. For every project correlated between Procore and SmartPM, users assigned to the project in Procore will be assigned to the matching project in SmartPM, with no manual setup required.
- Changes Table: You can now add and remove columns in the Changes table to show only the information you need. Changes that involve more than one activity can also be split into two separate columns rather than combined in one.
- Quality: We’ve added two new configuration options to the Quality metrics. Relationships can now be counted when either the predecessor or successor of an unfinished activity is already complete, and As Late As Possible constraints can now be included in the Constraints metric. The Quality page has also been upgraded to a new view.
- Trends: Data points on the Trends tab are now clickable. Select any point to jump straight to the page behind that calculation.
