Remove Resources

Use Remove Resources modeling to simulate what happens if you remove cost and/or manpower figures from your analysis. This can help you produce a more accurate analysis when activities are unreliably labor and cost loaded.

Create a Remove Resources Model:

1. Go to the Project Workspace by clicking the project from the Project List.
2. Click Modeling from the top menu bar.
3. Click + Model from the top right of the screen and click Remove Resources
4. Choose WBS, activity codes, or specific activities to which removal applies
5. Enter model name
   1. Choose a baseline schedule (default is All Schedules)
   2. Select resource types you want removed
6. Click Save to run the model
7. When complete, choose the new scenario in the Model box to view it 
   
   

To View & Analyze the Results:

Once the scenario is ready, switch to it to see project metrics (percent complete, SPI, compression) without those resources. Compare to original scenario to see the impact.
