Users can now upload a baseline schedule file and compare multiple schedule files (using either the same or different data dates) to it. SmartPM generates our standard Change Log report for each file being compared.
Navigate to the Resources icon on the left hand side of SmartPM.
Click the Schedule Comparer Icon.
Start by uploading the first schedule file which will be the 'baseline' file for the comparison. This can be done by either dragging and dropping the file, or browsing directly to it.
Next, upload one or more further schedule files. These will all be compared to the baseline file.
After clicking next, the comparison process will begin. Once completed, an overview of the comparison will be displayed.
For further detail, click the 'Export' button which will generate an Excel spreadsheet to review.
Note that there are tabs with more details about each comparison, such as Critical Changes.
