Logging in and Setting Profile Settings
After registering, you will receive an email containing a link to set up your username and password. Your username is always your email address.
You are required to set your password before you can use SmartPM.
Logging in:
Use Google Chrome: For best performance and compatibility, SmartPM is optimized for the Google Chrome browser.
Steps to Log In:- Navigate to https://live.smartpmtech.com using Chrome.
- Enter your registered email and password.
- If you forgot your password, click Forgot Password and follow the email link to reset.
When you first log in, you will be asked a few questions to help set up your Dashboard.
First, you will select your role, then you will decide how you want to group your data. The available roles are:
- Corporate Executive: Oversees strategic alignment and business goals across all projects and portfolios.
- Project Executive: Ensures project success by managing high-level scope, budget, and stakeholder communication.
- Schedule Manager: Leads scheduling efforts, ensuring timelines, dependencies, and resources are accurately planned and tracked.
- Operations Manager: Coordinates project execution with operational goals, focusing on resource efficiency and logistics.
- Site Team: Scheduler: Creates and updates site-level schedules to reflect real-time progress and field conditions.
- Site Team: Non-Scheduler: Executes tasks on-site and provides updates that inform schedule progress and adjustments.
- Consultant: Scheduler: Provides expert scheduling support, ensuring compliance with best practices and client standards.
- Consultant: Portfolio Manager: Advises on project selection and prioritization to optimize portfolio performance and ROI.
Profile Settings
Click your name at the bottom left of the screen to manage user settings. From here, click My Profile to view your profile and Subscription Settings.
Within the Profile settings, you can:
- Change your default company
- Change your default homepage
- Turn on or off Tooltips
- Select your preferred format (e.g., MM/DD/YYYY or DD/MM/YYYY). Your chosen format will automatically apply to all areas where dates are displayed.
Click Edit Profile on the top right of the screen to update your first and last name, title, and phone number.
