Test Workweek

The Test Workweek modeling option allows you to see how your project would behave if you adjusted the workweek (e.g. adding or removing workdays) by changing calendars to a group of activities. This is useful for exploring alternative calendar scenarios, such as if weekend work is added to a certain trade.

To Create a Test Workweek Model:

1. Go to the Project Workspace by clicking the project from the Project List.
2. Click Modeling from the top menu bar.
3. Click + Model from the top right of the screen and click Test Workweek 
4. Select Activities / Units of Change: decide whether to apply changes to WBS, activity codes, or specific activities
5. Name & Calendar:
   1. Enter a name for your model
   2. Choose a target calendar type (the new workweek you want to test)
   3. Calendar choices should refer to those defined in your project settings
6. Click Save to start modeling
   
   

View and Analyze the Results:

After the model runs, switch to your Test Workweek scenario to see how project metrics (end dates, critical path, float) change. Compare side-by-side with the original scenario
