This video shows you how to identify changes that you want to flag for discussions you will have later.
Navigate to the Trends Graphs to select the update periods you want to flag:
- Click on the name of a project to get to the Project Dashboard
- Select the radio button to the left of “Full Schedule”. You can only flag changes through the original scenario because the original scenario is going to have the base set of changes. Changes may fluctuate from scenario to scenario.
- Click on the “Trends” graph icon on the right hand menu bar and you will see a summary.
- Click on the word “Graphs” to see the Trends graphs and Scroll to the third graph, “Schedule Changes Over Time” a graph that shows the changes that have occurred from update to update. You will see the places where the largest number of changes occurred in the schedule.
- Compare the periods with the largest number of changes with the Schedule Delay Over Time graph to see the correlation between the changes and acceleration being experienced in the project. Acceleration is shown in green on the “Delay Over Time” graph.
- Determine which updates you want to focus on. Usually you will select the updates with the most changes.
