Primary Scenario

This video covers the primary scenario, which is the scenario for which the metrics shown on the dashboard are reflective of.

The Primary Scenario in SmartPM is the selected scenario whose metrics are displayed on the dashboard. By default, SmartPM sets the All Schedules - Full Schedule as the primary one. However, users can change this to another scenario, such as a new baseline or an interim milestone, to reflect different tracking needs. To set a new primary scenario, navigate to the list of milestones, select the desired one, and click "Mark as Primary." This action updates the dashboard and all related analyses to align with the selected scenario.

Why am I seeing a different data date in the company dashboard than my most updated data date?

In the SmartPM dashboard, you may notice that the data date on the dashboard is not the latest data date uploaded to your project. This is because the key milestone you are tracking in your project has been deleted from the project, or SmartPM recognizes that the key milestone has been removed. You will see the key milestone you are tracking to, highlighted in red to signify this-

SmartPM will display the last data date for the key milestone that it was active in the project. If you go into your project and select the Full Schedule milestone or any key milestone that is still active in the project, you should notice that the data date matches up with your most updated data date. It may be best to mark a new milestone as the Primary, so your company dashboard reflects the most updated data date-
