Release 9.13 - September 5, 2025

New Features

  • Bulk Activity Exclusion: Added a new bulk change condition to efficiently exclude activities from the schedule. Unlike the existing condition, which only removes activities from progress tracking, this feature completely removes selected activities from the schedule. Previously available only through individual One-Off Changes, users can now select entire Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) or Activity Codes for bulk exclusion, streamlining schedule management.

  • Late Date Curve Progress Tracking: SmartPM now supports tracking progress and Schedule Performance Index (SPI) against the Late Date Curve, in addition to the default Early Date Curve. This option can be configured in the Admin menu for new projects. For existing projects, contact SmartPM support to update this setting.

  • Configurable Actual End Dates for Completed Activities: Users can now choose whether SmartPM assigns actual end dates to activities marked 100% complete but lacking an end date in the file. This option can be configured in the Admin menu for new projects. For existing projects, contact SmartPM support to update this setting. If disabled, SmartPM will flag these activities as missing an actual finish date without assigning one, offering greater control over data handling.

Bug Fixes

  • Custom Calendars: Resolved an issue preventing users from editing or deleting custom calendars created in SmartPM.

  • Change Condition Successors: Fixed a bug that blocked users from editing successor information in the Change Condition feature.

  • Reset Password Functionality: Improved the reset password feature to only update the password when a new one is created. Users can now cancel the reset process to retain their current password if triggered accidentally.
