This video will show you how to set up a Primary Scenario, which will be the data that populates in the Dashboard.
By default, SmartPM will set your primary scenario to the original scenario. SmartPM Analysis starts from the original scenario and includes all of your schedules, and all of the activities and all the schedules to date.
There are situations when you want to change this primary scenario. For example:
- New baseline
- Track to a substantial completion milestone
- Track to an interim milestone
Change the analysis that you see on the Dashboard when you first log in:
- Click on the project name
- From the list of Milestones you see, click on the radio button to the left of the Milestone you want to select as the Primary Scenario.
- Click on the blue “Mark as Primary” button on the upper right.
- Click on the green “Yes” button. Now SmartPM will use this as the default scenario on the dashboard.
All of the SmartPM Analysis will reflect this Primary Scenario moving forward. Another way to change your Primary Scenario is to Re-baseline.
